Great oppurtunity to do something you love and pick up some extra income in a few hours on an occassional Saturday.  I am having more and more request for these cake decorating parties and most of the party request are for Saturdays and this is our busiest day in the bakery so I am currently seeking 1- 2 individuals with cake decorating experience and who are also great with kids.  You will receive a complete  party kit with all the iced cakes, icings, decorations, tools etc...  as needed.  Each party last 2 hours, so this should typically take apx, 3 hours including your time to pick up kits and driving to party sight.   Most parties typically start at either 11am or 3pm but I will be setting up an on line scheduler that you can update to you and your families activities.   So if you have a ballgame or a family  event 1 week or on a particular Saturday afternoon, you will be able to block off that time frame as you need.   please send a complete resume along with examples of your work and please note what position you are applying for.
Compensation will be based on per party basis and you will be issued a 1099 MISC Form for tax purposes and a NONCOMPETITION AND NONDISCLOSURE contractual agreement must be signed prior to beginning this position.

On a 1099 MISC Form, the income earned will be noted, but there will not be any deductions for federal and state income taxes, nor will any deferred compensation, social security, or medical deductions be taken. Since the 1099 recipient is not an employee of the business, the business is obligated only to tender the income to the contractor without any deductions. This 1099 income is also reported to the Internal Revenue Service so it has the opportunity to track income from freelance workers. The freelancer will be obligated to make his or her own tax deductions and forward such payments to the IRS.

Baker-cakes & cookies
Position will be opening in December 2011

Ms Gail will be retiring the end of this year... this will be a tough apron to fill...  This is on an "as needed-part time" basis.  A typical work week would be 2-3 days-Wednesday, Thursday-Friday..  Honestly no commercial bakery experience is necessary.. Gail was a wonderful home baker when she applied for this position 4 years ago and she was able to take my recipes and learn a few techinques I preferred and with in a few weeks was on her own...  As long as you have the general baking knowledge I would prefer to find someone that the irregular weekly hours will not matter to them..  My baker will bake all baked goods as well as torte, fill & crumb coated. Preparing fillings and icings as needed.  Following my recipes.
